Finished some other projects so I have time to get back into guest directed self.

For week 3 and my Guest Direction I want to you take a shower. Enjoy your shower however you care too, wash your hair, do a body scrub, just stand under the hot water, sing something, share that shower with someone. Once you are done your shower I want you to take your photo in natural or artificial light, showing as much or as little skin as you like, looking directly into the camera. That’s the key. Freshly showered, still damp, no makeup or styling or hair products, looking directly into the camera. Enjoy!

You guys! I just finished my 365 set! This isn’t the shot I used, you can see that on my flickr right here! I’m eagerly anticipating not taking a picture of myself tomorrow. Thanks for all of the likes, replies, messages & reblogs over the past year. You’re a wonderful bunch of tumblrers you are. <3

i am my things, i am not my things
I started another year in pictures project on the first. My goal for this set is to take photos steeped with personal meaning. When I phone it in, it will probably be a photo of Shaun, but then there will also be photos like this, where I’m spending less time hiding my environment, because my environment means a lot to me. This photo is all about the clutter, including myself as clutter, as described in the tags on flickr, but I’ll put them here for people who don’t want to click through: mask, piles of books on my side of the bed, of course, a broken clock, ugly dolls and sock monkey and wooly the sheeple, am/fm radio for late night tornado emergencies, robot hoodie, halloween socks, his and hers rumpled pajamas at the foot of the bed, a leftover birthday balloon.
I find a blank page daunting but an empty set on flickr is full of potential. A Year in Pictures : 2011
