Gathered with Shaun’s family last night for his birthday (which is tomorrow) and met the newest member of the family. Oakley belongs to one of the nieces. He’s a miniature pinscher with a touch of pug.

Another thing my mom is celebrating is being cancer free for 10 years. This week in 2002 she had surgery to remove breast cancer, and started a long year of recovery. We got together on Thursday to do a little shoot with her new sleevey wonders, which hide some of the issues that she still has from her lumpectomy and lymph node removal. She’s so wonderful and I am so proud of her. <3
