This is a photo my dad took with the holga. It is so full of awesome things. The downstairs hall window, shed, virginia creeper, mom’s stars, my brother paul with a red flash just barely perceptible over the window, mom, mom and dad’s wedding picture on the cabinet.
He didn’t finish this roll of film. The day after he died I was at my parents house and there was the camera, the roll half shot. I finished it that day. It was weird getting it developed. My mom gave me the rest of the film and it has sat in the refrigerator, since. I packed it up for my trip this weekend. The month and year of expiration are the month and year my dad died. Two years is long enough to hold on to it. Two years expired. I’m going to try and shoot all of it next week.
